Lembaga Parlemen Korea mengajukan RUU pelarangan Lip-Sync !
Grup di Korea Selatan sepert Girls’ Generation dan Super Junior menjadi bagian dari Hallyu yang berhasil menyapu perhatian di Asia, tetapi kembali ke Seoul, banyak penyanyi yang mendapatkan berita yang menyedihkan dan membuat malu KorSel. Karena faktanya kalau banyak penyanyi yang pada waktu tampil LIVE menggunaka lip-sync, Parlemen Korea Selatan menyarankan “Amandemen Undang-Undang Penampilan (Performences)”, yang akan membuat para Idol untuk bernyanyi secara langsung, atau jika terpaksa melakukan lip-sync, mereka harus memberitahukannya kepada para penonton secara langsung kalau mereka menggunakannya.
Menurut JoongAng Daily News, rancangan undang-undang ini diusulkan pada tanggal 13 Mei. RUU ini menyatakan kalau penyanyi dilarang melakukan lip-syncing selama penampilan, dan apabila ada yang melanggar akan dikenakan hukuman :
1. Maksimal 1 tahun penjara dan
2. Maksimal membayar denda ₩ 10.000.000
RUU ini mendapatkan banyak dukungan karena ini dipercara bisa meningkatkan kebudayaan akan penampilan mereka di Seoul.
Faktanya, karena banyak grup Korea yang memiliki banyak member, yang pada bagian solo kebanyakan sangat singkat waktunya; Sebuah koran Korea Selatan menganalisis penampilan dari 7 Grup Idola yang populer dan membuat kesimpulankalau tiap membernya hanya bernyanyi rata-rata 16 detik, dan itupun adapula yang tidak bernyanyi sama sekali. Dan ini tentu membuat orang-orang berpikir akan keraguan kemampuan menyanyi mereka.
